I haven't played around with AHCI, so I'm not sure about that yet.

Good news the RAM isn't dead

This is what I have in the BIOS for the drives.

Tht's exactly what i have, but are we not supposed to have a max of 6 (plus 2 more in the JMicron BIOS) devices in there?
Cause it seems we could have like, 10.

I think its because they are place holders for the stuff we dont use on SATA, such as SLAVE.

I suppose you could try connecting 8 devices up and seeing what it lists and where. I don't have 8 devices spare at the moment

Still waiting for some neoprene to turn up so I can set the phase unit up
