This refers to the X48T CPU GTLREF but their basically the same as far as gtlref & bios go.

Yes it does
Their hidden you need to press [CTRL] + [F1] from the bios main menu to access them.
Thought you'd read the note at the bottom of the Gigabyte GA X38 DQ6 when you posted your settings, sorry

lol i checked your post at her place

I still cant get to start. I does get to the windows loading screen but hangs in the process. Stupid thing is that when i raised the CPU voltage to 1.3500 it wouldnt even show the loading screen...

These are the most maxed settings i have tried until now..
MB Intelligent Tweaker (MIT)
Robust Graphics Booster: Auto
CPU Clock Ratio: 8x
CPU Host Clock Control: Enabled
CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) : 450
PCI Express Frequency (Mhz) : 100
C.I.A.2: Disabled
Performance Enhance : Standard
System Memory Multiplier (SPD) : 2.00D
Memory Frequency(Mhz): 900
DRAM Timing Selectable : Manual

Standard Timing Control
CAS Latency Time: : 5
DRAM RAS# to CAS# : 5
DRAM RAS# Precharge : 5
Precharge Delay(tRAS) : 15

Advanced Timing Control AUTO

Clock Driving and Skew Control
CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control : 900mv
CPU Clock Skew Control : Normal
(G)MCH Clock Skew Control : Normal

System Voltage Control : Manual
DDR2 OverVoltage Control : +0.20v (2.00v)
PCI-E OverVoltage Control : +0.10v
FSB OverVoltage Control : +0.10v
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control : +0.125
MCH Reference Voltage Control : Normal
DDR Reference Voltage Control : Normal
DDR Termination Voltage Control : Normal
CPU GTLREF1 Voltage* : -3%
CPU GTLREF2 Voltage* : -3%
CPU Voltage Control : 1.3500
Normal CPU Vcore : 1.2500

Suggestions anyone?

try
Quote:
FSB OverVoltage Control : +0.10v
to +0.15v
also might try
Just try GTLref1 at -3 Gtlref2 at normal

If those don't work then try these:-
CPU Clock Skew Control : 100ps
(G)MCH Clock Skew Control:100ps

Are the settings as i described above a bit over the top for 24/7 use if i get it at 3.6? I mean; it's all a lot more compared to 3,4ghz... and for just 200mhz more....

basically depends what your temps are, not sure how or what your cooling is ?
Somme can get 3.6k on air others can't. Depends on you basically. I generally top out with load temps at around 65C on prime.
With current stability as you describe it's not yet a 24/7 clock , but should be doable given your equipment and good cooling.
If you get 3.6k stable, but with high temps, it's easy to back off a bit to 3.5k say, whilst you persuade your girlfriend that you need water cooling

Thing is; the temps arnt the problem. I got a Thermalright 120 Extreme ontop of the quad and it keeps it nice and cool. @3,4 ghz it idles at around 30C and load doesnt even get near the 60C. It just seems like to get it to even start at 3,6 ghz, i have to raise a lot of volts everywhere...

i finally got it to start @3,5ghz but with the following settings:

MB Intelligent Tweaker (MIT)
Robust Graphics Booster: Auto
CPU Clock Ratio: 8x
CPU Host Clock Control: Enabled
CPU Host Frequency(Mhz) : 438 (3,5ghz)
PCI Express Frequency (Mhz) : 100
C.I.A.2: Disabled
Performance Enhance : Standard
System Memory Multiplier (SPD) : 2.00D
Memory Frequency(Mhz): 876
DRAM Timing Selectable : Manual

Standard Timing Control
CAS Latency Time: : 5
DRAM RAS# to CAS# : 5
DRAM RAS# Precharge : 5
Precharge Delay(tRAS) : 15

Advanced Timing Control AUTO

Clock Driving and Skew Control
CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control : 1000mv
CPU Clock Skew Control : Normal
(G)MCH Clock Skew Control : Normal

System Voltage Control : Manual
DDR2 OverVoltage Control : +0.20v (2.00v)
PCI-E OverVoltage Control : +0.10v
FSB OverVoltage Control : +0.15v
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control : +0.125
MCH Reference Voltage Control : Normal
DDR Reference Voltage Control : Normal
DDR Termination Voltage Control : Normal
CPU GTLREF1 Voltage* : -3%
CPU GTLREF2 Voltage* : Auto
CPU Voltage Control : 1.3250
Normal CPU Vcore : 1.2500

I got to login and do things but i completly hanged after a couple of minutes of Prime95.... Perhaps i should give up and wait for the next new bios. In comparisation to the 3.4 o.c these are quite big raises in volts for just 100mhz extra and its far from being stable....

Could still try the 100ps... you recommend those in combo with the -3% at the GTLREF?

I'd put
Quote:
CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control : 100mv
back to 800~900mv
try the
CPU Clock Skew Control : 100ps
(G)MCH Clock Skew Control:100ps

also try 1~2 extra turns on
Quote:
(G)MCH OverVoltage Control : +0.125
If it's freezing , this is most likely to stop it.

If it's still unstable try an extra step on vcore.

Upping the MCH and the 100ps still didnt make windows startup at 3.6 ghz.... think i just need to start hoping the next bios will bring some improvements!
