hi AngelEyes ,
Welcome to the forum Glad we had the info , one way or another

Glad to see your doing well. thanks for sharing the settings
Vdroop is really the difference between the actual vcore at idle to load rather than from what is set in bios.
I did find running with
GTL1 -3
GTL2 -3
Helped my wolfdale clocks, may be worth a go in the future.

Hey thanks! I am going to use some 'almost and wouldn't it be nice at that voltage' settings and try the GTL at -.3

Any idea what the tRD phase adjust setting does? Does the x38 have that in BIOS?

Thanks again for the info on GTL and vdroop.

Best details of it are here
tRD Phase Shift but to be honest it didn't do that much for me . Trd remains the key setting

Hi Supershanks,

My rig is as follows:

GIGABYTE GA-X38-DQ6
Q6600 G0 2.40GHZ
XIGMATEK RED SCORPION HDT-RS1283
4 * OCZ 2GB 800MHZ XTC TITANIUM
POWERCOLOR 4870X2 2GB DDR5
X-FI XTREME GAMER F1 PS
CORSAIR HX1000W
COOLERMASTER CM690
COOLING: 4 FANS 120mm + 1 FAN 140mm

Running the CPU at 2.4Ghz (standard clocking), my CPU temp is roundly 30ºC.

Thus, accordingly to some info I read in some foruns, my CPU is probably bottlenecking(??) my 2 GPUs, for what it is recommended(??) to do some OC on my CPU and on DDR2 800MHZ RAMs.

Should I OC them? I'm complete noob on OCing.

I would probably wish to reach an OC in CPU of 3.2 or 3.4 Ghz. I think it's enough to take more power from my 2 GPU's. Suggestions, please?

At the moment, I'm running very nicely and playably games like FAR CRY 2, COD4, CRYSIS.

If so, I would need help from experts in this field.
Because I know you are the man, I would wish to have your expertise knowledge.

Please, could you give some full list of the specs that I should enter in BIOS?

Thanks,
Nilo123

Here is some pics of my specs:
