I'm missing the bottom bolts that go underneath. Gigabyte sent me some hexagonal nuts about 2mm long, but no bolts to screw into them! They did come in their own tiny sealed packet, but my motherboard was a non-tested RMA replacement I got on the cheap and didn't come with any of the extra screws, bolts, nuts, etc needed for it.

To be honest I'm not that bothered now that it seems stable, if I start getting stability problems again I'll look into it again.

Is caused by an unstable clock , it's posible your cmos is screwed.
I'd clear the cmos , perhaps removing the battery for a while.
Try restarting afyer rthat , go into bios & set your ram voltage to something around the earlier
Hi supershanks,

Got my card back from rma on monday.
Now it boots (before rma, cmos, other cpu,ram and vga led to nowhere).

It's been repaired (bad C03 component, whatever that is) and boots fine.

I'll investigate further with my ahci trials installation.

Hi Django.,
Welcome to the forum and thanks for adding your system specs, makes life easier
Not too clear what's failing ??
Working with 4x1gb, it's best to get 2x1gb stable & tested running prime blend or large ffts
Then when thet are proven stable , repeat with 2nd set. Then try both sets together , be prepared to perhaps increase vdimm a notch and/or MCH OverVoltage.

Couple of things look like they need tweaking:-
1) Increase (G)MCH OverVoltage Control ................. [Normal] try +0.175 or slightly higher if needed
This controls NB voltage which can help memory controller & help stabilize CPU.
2) Static tRead Value ............... [8] you might get away with 6 or 7
3) Try using the B or D straps rather than A so 3.00B rather than 3.00A
