Hi supershanks,
I'm always trying to run
FSB&mem at 1:1 ratio, therefore when i attempted 400
FSB, i set the divider at 2.00D (but tried A and B as well), so that the memory speed was 800. Timing control was set to Standard.
Today i was able to
post @ 3.6Ghz feeding the Vcore 1.6, but when Vista attempted to load aero, i got the blue screen. I lowered a tad the Vcore and booted @
FSB 375, but after 5 minutes of Orthos, the temperature on both cores raised up to 70° and i got the blue screen again. It seems to me that this mobo needs much higher voltages to work properly, at least with the
bios at this stage. As i was telling you before, with my previous one, i could run the CPU at 3Ghz leaving all the voltages in auto (tightening the mem settings to 4-4-4-12) and boot into windows at 3.4Ghz with Vcore @ 1.475. I guess different mobo, different experience...
Thanks for your help.
