okay, this is a bit odd....i haven't done anything to my system and currently have it OCed at 333x9 1066 5-5-5-11, but when i got home from work today i attempted to get on my system and it just kept rebooting. i finally powered it down, by shutting down the PSU and unplugging it. i powered back up and of course my settings were back to default. i reset to my last known good config and rebooted. i started up cpuz and memset and noticed my ram was not being recognized. so i restarted the pc, again. and began to power cycle multiple times before finally coming back up, again at stock settings. anyone exp this before?

okay shanks, the least voltage my cpu will boot at is around 1.475...

neways could u explain exactly how to configure that GTL Ref, mine has two settings only, GTL Ref 1 & 2. but what's more confusing is that GTL Ref1 goes from 3% to 9% and GTL Ref2 goes from -3% to 6%

so i dunno wtf... since that guide talks about 66% n shit

1) did you update your bios ?? if so try enabling Loadline Calibration this might enable you to drop vcore a little.
2) I'd assume Normal GTLREF would be 64~65% which is the norm for dual core. Quads like about 66 ~67% ish ,(see the gtl links i gave you earkier). So i'd assume your +/- % from around there. As you can see there are 2 controls gltref1 & gtlref2. GTLRef1 will control cores 0&3 GTLRef2 cores 1&4. So I'd try tweaking GTLRef1 1st.

lower your vcore & try Finding Optimum GTLref, obviously you can't use guru, but the principal is the same. when prime fails , got into bios tweak the gtlref that failed & redo. You should find that prinme is running longer(use small ffts),

Also refer to the zenoth link i fgave you earlier.

luck

+0.40v = 2.2v (i believe)

no prob.

*okay, so i gave it another go, (i didn't want to give up that easy) and i have been running stable at 3.15GHz (345x9) for about 3 hours so I decided to go for 3.2GHz (400x8) my only concern was the temps during load testing (small fft and blend) using prime95 at 3.2GHz were reaching at some point 70C. here's a screen shot of more thorough settings and temps. oh yeah, i forgot to add that i did lower my vcore from 1.4375 to 1.400

No worries I see it now. Don't know if that water on the screen might be an issue
Your ram timingsd look fine & vdimm fine so no worries there that i can see.

Might need to tweak the voltages again.

try somewhere in between ?? ~1.4125v

Also try a tweak up of fsb over voltage.

luck

So Hows that running ??
It might be worth while trying

--> £% to see if that gives some more stability. see the gtlref links in index & recent posts if you want more background.
