I'll hold you to that if we get there, we're not so blase about those boring old blue skyss

Yes I got the memory sticks back & they worked even better in Gigabyte X48T DQ6 It was a bit unfortunate with the ram, as by the time I got the new kit back, X48 arrived & I moved on. Having moved on I aren't of course in a position to really comment on subsequent Bios.

Missed most of France game , not too much of a loss, am watching a recording of holland at the minute as we had guests round tonight for dinner

If you do have time it may be helpful to others if you could jot down & post your settings using Asus P5K Deluxe Wifi Bios template

cheers

To whoever may be interested.
These are the settings that have worked for me. Notice the low Multiplier which I use due to the fact that my system is air cooled and I have a relativly high ambient temp. That is to say, I'm experiancing a small heating problem. (benchmark core temps hit 80 deg.)

I'm still not done tweaking the system and I'm awaiting my watercooling kit but it's a good start.

Thanks to Supershanks for all his help and guidance atleast now I have a much better concept of what things do.

Hey Supershanks,

I thought I inform you that I found a Thermalright Ultra 120 extreme and decided to try it out (Low Cost).
I am currently running at 3.6k with the same temps as my old cooler on my older settings.
Guess the old cooler looked cool but wasn't really cool. (sorry for the pun)

Vcore is now set to 1.50v (1.48v in windows under benchmark conditions)
Everything else is the same. Seem's stable, will let it run all night.

It's Greece's last game tonight, I guess there is no longer any question as the their fate (at least it's going to be quiet)

Best Wishes.

That's because spain doesn't want to humiliate Greece. I believe that if spain was serious, we would be 5 goals behind.
