Thought I'd try water cooling to see if I could take the Phenom II x4 955 and the DK 790FXB-M3H5 further. Though I could manage 3.8Ghz on air, overclocking beyond that though possible wasn't sustainable for long.
First run was:-
3,900Mhz 19.5x200 @1,333Mhz 6-6-6-17. I'd managed this on air but without stability, I started with a lower ram speed first this time of 1,333 rather than 1,600Mhz.

My favourite and most effective NB air cooler has long been the Swiftech MCX159-CU Sadly the block is too large for the DFI LANPARTY DK 790FXB-M3H5 chipset. Rumaging around in my bag of bits i found an old Enzotech CNB-S1L
So I used the fan and mounting posts from the swiftech and the Enzotech block:

This dropped Chipset temps 8°~10°C
I did try using the swiftech fan and mounting bolts with the DFI stock cooler, but the bolts were just 5mm too short.
If your running on Air and need a low profile cooler then the CNB-R1 or SLF-1
might be worth looking at.
