Intel E8400 Wolfdale Living Review

I recently built my first watercooled pc, currently have the Q9450 in there and trying to see how far I can get it(having trouble getting it prime95 stable over 3.3Ghz(13 1/2hrs prime95 stable but took awhile)). I'm tempted to give either the E8200 or E8400 a try(the E8500 is a little too expensive for me), which would be a better choice(E8200 or E8400)?

I've been real pleased with both. E8200 which is now in my wife's rig. I got the E8400 on the basis of the E8200. The E8500 I sold as it really didn't add that muchh for the extra £. I'd be inclined to go for the E8400. Compared to your Q9450 , your E8400 will give you he ability to go >4k. It will also go well if you move onto DDR3 , where the ability to hit high >500 Fsb give the ability to optimise ram speeds
