interesting that the X48 is now actually in stock...i need to check again here...as of last night, it was not.
EDIT:...just checked...one out of four sites has only the DFI X48 DDR2 board for $300 USD (no tax if you buy it out of state of origin for the online retail site).

Was almost tempted by MotherboardPro
but transit delay plus any RMA issues put me off. What is a pleasant suprise is to see DDR3 boards available , might be tempted by Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6,
luck

motherboard pro was the only site out of the four major sites having the X48 DDR2 type board, out of gigabyte, asus, foxconn (no DDR3 types available).
agree with you about ordering it over here, in the USA, and then dealing with a possible RMA.

Yep was pretty funny last night , got as far as signing up & dropping DFI in my basket & going to checkout. It put me off a bit when the freight rate said carriage to Hamilton New Zealand , rather that Hamilton Scotland
