DFI LT X38-T2R LanParty - Living Review.

wow this mobo for now is 239.99 at newegg ... less than what i got it for at 249.99 from mobopro i should have waited one more day lol

Does the LT 38-T2R support the E8400 out of the box? Or do I need another ptocessor to update the BIOS first?

i was told it does if the mobo is a current revision/ and has current bios

Is it an improvement over the P35 ( my favourite atm )

I've been playing around with the phase, so I'll have some screenies and more info on how it performs, and any quirks that there might be

I have to say though, that on the whole, I'm enjoying using it.

Just a note to all.

I will be at ce-bit myself and I will be helping out clunk and shanks (lol sounds like a rock group i.e Clunk and Chanks)in a reporter capacity=watch this space.

I have an appointment with OCZ on the Wednesday in thier booth (watch this space) and one with Gigabyte. I will more than likley going as a part of the abit or more likely the DFI team.

I have the same board as Clunk, and I will post my review in the users section when I am happy with it.

The DFI x38 is a nice board, though Im having some teething problems with the BIOS at this moment. Which hopefully will be addressed this weekend.

I have also found some BIOS problems, but they are only slight annoyances and quirky behaviour, and I've listed them just before the reserved posts in the review
