Ahh, they are further North than the retailer I was thinking of, and yes they usually do have keen prices

Didn't you think to ask them?

I'm sure the person that told you that would know exactly why they said it.

sean returned my call this evening and he said me and him misunderstood each other. the lt/ut will be the better mobo's he said the dark will be better optimized for quads than the lt/ut.. i still dont see how but he said it was due to them redesigning the mobo for better quad support. but the lt will still be the better all around every day overclocker.

The DK is basically a cut down LT from what i've seen and viewed on the p35 range. Remeniscent of the Nf4 Ultra v the SLI. If you want to save a few £ get the DK, If you want the full monty get the LT.

also sorry for any confusion about the 2 mobo's i.e. the dark and the x38 and the dark being the better overclocker as i stated in another thread. when talking with sean today we misundertsood each other somehow and got mixed up. we spoke tonight and it was all cleared up.. so if i made anyone freak and call dfi i apologize up front. and sean said if he wasn't clear he feels the same way.. so sorry again for any confusion.. i was stumped all day after talking with him trying to figure out myself how the dark would be the better mobo.. just a misunderstanding..
Here.

Thats that cleared up then.

...am doing this the parsimonious way - can buy the mobo for 197 Euros in Germany, but as shipping and customs duty would be at least 45 Euros, I will take the train, cross the border, get the board, then shop for some german beer and sausages, and then return home ("No Sir, nothing to declare..."). Overall travel time: 3 hours. Travel cost (beer and sausages not included): 16 Euros. Why am I telling you this? I don't know. Should hold the mobo im my hands in two weeks. Skoal!
