Available in one week is great news, but I do want to put in the Q9450 so would await this CPU release and more importantly the Living Review results.
For my overclock I am not looking for record breaking results 3.2 on air would be great.

I do hear that DFI boards are rather elitist boards and maybe hard for a layman (like myself) to overclock.

Is this the case, should I start with a simpler board?

To be honest I do like the look of this board.

The only thing I have overclocked is my bank balance, and that's not too stable

I'm still getting to grips with what makes it tick, but I'll add the results as I get them, as well as any info/observations along the way.

There are a lot of settings for the beginner, and on past DFI boards, they haven't played nice with some settings left on AUTO. The results I posted above are with a lot of stock settings, so it would appear that you can get away with tweaking much less if you want to. Again, I will report back if that's not the case

It's difficult to say at the moment for sure.

Thing is, it runs the failing G0 at 3.6Ghz 1.4v 24/7, which is (+/- 0.25v ) pretty much what all the other boards have done, so in that respect, yes its nice and stable.

So far, I havent found anything majorly annoying, with the exception of a few BIOS freezes shortly after flashing to the 111 BIOS, but that could have been down to this CPU.

I'll have to grab another CPU on monday.

Im just testing some dividers at the moment, so I'll put some screenies up within the hour.
