Hi everyone,

I currently have the LT X38-T2R running with a mildly overclocked E 8400@3.6GHz (400x9, 1.2V). And I'm trying to get 2x1GB Ballistix 8500 Tracers working at 1066 MHZ (400/1066).

I get into Windows XP and everything seems to be running fine.
But Super Pi Mod 1.5 starts generating errors from 8M and up.

BTW: 4x1GB of the same memory is a NO-GO at the moment: Windows boots but Super Pi Mod 1.5 starts erroring at 2M.

So far I have tried voltages up to 2.1V on the memory. Memory timings are 5 5 5 15 and everything else is at stock/AUTO. Are there any other settings I shuold tweak a little?

My goal is to get 4 of these sticks running. Any hints to accomplish this?

manually adjust the performance level to 8 to see if that has any affect.

the other thing is your vcore might be a tad low for that overclock.

Sorry for the late reply (and thanks Ace for replying), been snowed under for a couple of days

The thing I noticed is that you have the voltage too low on the RAM. Those sticks are rated to run at 2.2v, and while they **might** run at 2.1v, it's best to run them at their rated voltage while overclocking as it is one less thing to rule out when something goes wrong

As Ace said, the Vcore looks a little bit low for 400x9.

And, can you put your system specs in your sig in the "extra options" please, and then grab the BIOS template for your board from here and list all of your settings. We can help you a bit better then.
