Hey man I've just got this board and I find that I cant use and divider except for auto over about 360 FSB (currently I've tweaked it to 425 on q9650)

1) are you on the beta bios? because I do not see 400mhz RAM straps on my release bios.

2) can you tink of anything to help ram issues besides the ram tweaks you posted on page 3? I'm using 2x2gb CSX Diablo :up:

yep i'm using bta bios. the 333 straps should work but don't work at that higher
speed on the original. Get the bta & use the 400 which are much better.

edit: looked like it worked

I got up to 500x9 and even got a CPU Z validation shot but unfortunately she crashed. EDIT: but I've just found the validation link

ugh you can notice in that shot that only 2 cores are going, its an issue I have been having and its probably a board thing but when I push it too far 2 cores usually drop :\

its not stable there by any means but it sure is something to work with. Your fixes helped me a lot shanks, and even though I'm at 1290 I'm getting fairly decent ram performance, definitely something I can live with until the next release bios comes out and clears up some more ram divider issues

yep I 've got to

but superPi not stable. Not really tried to max CPU. It's the ram NB side that seems fragile. I have noticed it seems to manage a notch lower on tRD than the Gigabyte Extreme, though that was stable at 575, which i've not got yet.

Yeah I think its all in the bios at this point, hopefully we will see the improvments to make this board a record setter for p45...

I can already see the q9650 clockspeed record in my grasps, I'm sitting at 9th on hwbot atm

One more thing: Do you reckon the GTL controls are percentages or voltages? I can't seem to figure that one out and I've scratching my head as to what to se to each of them....
