Default NorthQ 3580 Siberian Tiger Watercooling Kit Review

In some circles if you mention "cheap" and "water cooling" in the same breath, you will undoubtedly be frowned upon and people will start quoting big brand names at you in a bid to steer you away from the budget...

Nice review Clunk!

BTW is this LCS more silent than a similarly performing air cooler?
Wich would "win" limiting the fan speed to something like 1100-1200 rpm, a S1283 or the NorthQ 3580?
I ask this because it would be worth the extra money if it does, otherwise.. mh not sure, but it sure uses way less space than a regular 12 cm air cooler, and that's a plus if space is a problem.

Nice review,
Decent results given its only a single rad and mounts aren't brilliant.

I would say that if you were to do as I mentioned in the review and get a backplate and some long screws and nuts and fix it down properly, then it will beat an air cooler, even with lower speed fans.

It kind of fills the gap in the price range between where the high end air coolers stop and the "proper" water cooling kits start.

I would also say that if you don't have any cooling at all (i.e. stock cooling), then its worth a look, if you have a high end air cooler, then you wont see that much of a difference.

Actually I have been toying with the idea of getting one of these for a while as The Tuniq Tower 120 I have is a bit of a monster. However, it does keep my E6600in the 30's quietly & efficiently. Reading through the review it seems that the fitting kit is woefully inadequate. Shame really.

Still, made up my mind for me to mucho thankyous
