Hello,
Here, I see a little problem following an overclocking my computer. I mounted my E6850 at 4100 MHz on my asus Maximus Formula SE.
I am anyway (OCCT-stable after an hour) that my LCD POSTER has no exact time. In the bios, the clock is wrong, but good when the computer is running.

What is the problem? My bios 0602;
Please help

Why dont you set the time in the BIOS?

Have you tried the 0701 BIOS?

so guys i placed an order on a "standard" max formula and it is ready to pick up TODAY if i wish too.

would you recommend this motherboard to me with the newer bios and possible new construction compared to the SE seeing it was released just few weeks ago?

as i really would like the PCIe2.0 lanes and wont be upgrading for another 3-4years after i purchase this motherboard.

I just experienced for the 1st time the PC Probe missread out. 1st, only in MB as it pinged to 130c. Oddly this happened directly after moving to HTPC cse w/ better air circulation. It has modded through type air tunnel that directs cool forced air directly RAM, CPU, and Chipset + mosfets (SB included, since it is fed by heatpipe into NB + rear mosfet assy.) All system probed temps dropped over -5c but yet Probe started misreading.

Still on BIOS 0701, I uninstalled PC Probe as it was acting up, (not even reading RAM probes on OPT sensor 1&2 anymore), then reinstalled and it seams to be OK for now (12hrs and testing).

Does anybody know the location of the MB sensor so to make sure it is not getting a heat draft or something?

Anybody know where the core clock generator is (the ic chip) so I can copper sink it if not already. This helped steady out the clock flux at high FSB on many of my other ASUS.
