I would, for sure.

In fact It's the 2nd time it's happened.
The p35 Blitz was also a limited SE (special edition) board.
After deciding to move from my p5k Deluxe , I read of the great performance of the blitz especially by Eva by the time i wised up to that , they were gone eol, judging by the posts you see around many others were left the same.
I guess it's a bit like musical chairs, would you rather be left with one or without one when they stop selling

luck
I recall Asus Blitz Formula SE received fantastic reviews on [H]ard|Forums as well, a few months later it was discontinued and you could'nt find one for love or money!

Maybe they will be worth something in years to come as antiques

Exaclty my point. So it depends on how well the board has been received as to what value you get either using it or on fleabay

Clunk - If I return the Maximus what would you recommend I consider as a new motherboard. Would need to be something available now (or very soon) otherwise I'll have to go back to my Athlon 64 X2 system.

Its hard to say really. Do you need the extra 16x slot?..if not, go P35.

I'm playing with the Abit at the moment, and it is ok, but needs even more voltage than the maximus, and isnt stable, even at 420FSB so far, so I cant recommend that either yet.

My P5K deluxe has been pretty awesome throughout

Planning on getting the new NVidia 8800GT so won't need 2nd 16x PCIe slot.

Just had a quick look and it seems the P5K deluxe is EOL.
I've found a P5K Premium at Tekheads.
Tekheads.co.uk
Not heard of this model. Is it the deluxe with a different name.

Yep the premium is the successor to the p5k deluxe. Same spec better circuits. In the absence of blitz is probably the best asus p35.

There are also the Abit P35-Pro & Dfi which are also up there as being the cream of p35 boards.

I strongly advise you read up on the Premium board, there are SATA issues that still have not been resolved by Asus.

Does anyone have any expereince of the DFI LanParty P35-2TR?
I used to have a LanParty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert and I have to say it was a pretty impressive overclocker.

I can't seem to find anyone who stocks the DFI LanParty P35-2TR. Is it available in the UK?
