What have other people got or tried with this board. For now just looking to buy a couple of decent 1GB sticks to get system up and running. Ideally they would need to be stable at 450MHz as I'm still looking at an 8x450 overclock on my Q6600 G0 CPU.
What would people recommend.

Got my new
RAM this morning. Went for Corsair XMS2 DDR2 6400C2 (2x1GB) and guess what. Total surprise. Started up without a problem.
BIOS recognised the
RAM correctly. All settings as expected.
Quick check under load in Windows before upping the numbers and now happy to say I'm running at 400MHz
FSB, memory at 800Mhz (2.1V),
CPU at 3.6GHz on 9x multipler, and so far, fingers crossed everything is stable.
Not impressed that the motherboard seems to have either -
(a) fried my Crucial Ballistix
RAM so that only 1 module out of four works, or
(b) is totally incompatible with my Crucial Ballistix
RAM.
Hope its the latter as I am looking to buy a cheaper setup for my daughters PC and hope to re-use the Crucial
RAM in that.
Now the BIG question. I have an RMA from Tekheads to return the Maximus motherboard for a full credit. Given that it is now EOL should I take advantage of this?
