Right, well I've only just managed my first stable clock at 3.6Ghz - It is a completely different beast to the last few boards I've had, and needs some careful setting up. it may just be the current
BIOS that is a bit flakey, but we will see.
To get stable last night, I put all these to the highest yellow value before they turned red.
- CPU PLL
- North Bridge Voltage
- FSB Termination Voltage
- South Bridge Voltage (You probably wont need to do this one, but I did it anyway to see)
- CPU GTL Reference - Highest setting (I'll go back over these to see what is needed)
- North Bridge GTL Reference - Same as above
- SB 1.5v Voltage
As I say, thats what I did to get stable, and also check your
RAM, Asus Probe is shoing a hefty overvolt of just under 0.1v, and my
CPU needs much more voltage than on the P5K Deluxe, but that might change.
