@ RevolutionX

Blimey!

Well, theres not much you can do with that, apart from RMA it, and if the retailer says it is physical damage and not covered under warranty, just make sure that they know that the waterblock has to come off to fit it, and thats why the screws are on the front of it.

The cement that Asus use to hold the NB on, is way too strong, and I have already seen someone else rip the IHS from their NB because of it.

I will add a note of caution to the main part of the review, and link it to your post.

P.S. Welcome to the forums

Default Crash BSOD

Hi guys and fellow Maximus Formula SE owners, I am having issues with this board. Could be to do with the PSU so I am going to try my OCZ 700W tonight, but I think it is to do with the sata controller and voltages. The issue I am having is a BSOD crash issue where I hear my hard drives stop and start spinning up again followed by a BSOD and memory dump. Anyone else seen anything like this, because I have been troubleshooting this problem for days? I will post back when I have swapped the PSU.

RevolutionX Wow thats one destroyed X38 chip you must have pulled pretty hard on that thing unlucky dude.
