that works at roughly £140 , for me i'd jump at the chance to try an X38 for that price
anyway , i have bought another DFI P35 ( sold the last system ) thats how impressed i was with that it and that was on a E4400

this time round it'll be a new cooler and hopefully ( if the G0 drops in price a bit more ) it'll be a review with a quad ! on air

for me this board ( the P35 ) the chipset temps have been unbelievably low , so i'm chancing it again

I saw a few people with the C1 error. Have a search for it on google.

It's entirely possible that it didn't like my RAM or some other component I was using, but then that would mean that all the other people that had it, were using the same components, which didn't fit in with what I was reading at the time.

It could also have been fixed with a BIOS update

Have had C1 errors on my Abit, though only whilst using the last bios. I think perhaps , it may be down to how fine tuned the memory controller is. THe Abit bios in question had just implemented working straps that were unoiperable in early versions. Perhaps the C1, memory detection error is related to this, rather than a compatability issue with other components

C1 error code should mean a problem with the memory...now...it might come down to insufficient vdimm or memory timings.

I was getting it when the RAM was set to 2.2v default at random times, the RAM was fine, so I suspect it was a BIOS issue.

There were other people reporting the same thing around the same time

Strictly speaking looking at Abit POST code indication? It's a memory detection issue. So could arise from a shedload of issues, not always down to memory errors. I had it happen on the Abit IX38 & it was sorted by pulling the battery, which implies a corrupt DMI.

absoultely...always a good idea to pop the battery out while trying to clear pesky C1 errors.
