Oh right you must have a good zoom, thought it looked like you took it from closer.
I've always liked the look of the stadium. also the sculpture in the middle of the roundabout near it . That made me laugh when it was originally placed. evidently the panels each show a bolton sporting theme. Like any one could see them

Same here, I like the statue, but why bother with all the photos as you say if no one can see them? They should have some kind of viewing ladder or platform. Oh hang on, Bolton health and safety, no, it would be FAR too dangerous!!! Please protect us Bolton Council! Save us from our own stupidity!!

yep reminds me of the town planner with his guide dog, why they didn't put it on the corner by the stadium , so that pedestrians might see it . You can almost imagine artist being right nissed off , he could have saved a lot of time and just used tinfoli if he'd have known it was going there.

One of those bridge jobbies, where it has both manual and auto functions, Panasonic DMC-FZ18. Crap in low light due to it's tiny sensor, but small enough to not be cumbersome to carry. That picture was photoshopped a bit though

Yeah, it just flew over. Unfortunately the Japanese thingybob wasn't as good as expected.....

I suppose it would have made slightly more sense to go when the plants and trees have grown their leaves fully
