Default Q about GTL ref with Wolfdale ( E8600)

I just picked up a E8600, and its my first 45nm, what GTL ref should u take for 45nm dual cores, 67% aswell, or was it like 61-63%, ( i forgot). I assume the tables Clunks by clunk made are measured and taken while he was running his E8400.

* Edit forgot to mention the DFI LT X48 T2R I am talkin about.

The tables were done by DFI using a 65nm CPU.

As far as I know, nobody has done a 45nm table, so you would have to measure the voltages yourself with a DMM to be completely accurate.

63% seems to be the accepted setting for 45nm CPUs, but I have had two that preferred 67% so far.

It's a case of experimenting and finding what's best for your system.

Unless you plan to run above 500/550 fsb, the E8600 does not need the GTL's to be enabled. It also only needs stock VTT as well.

Edit:I'll take that back, you do need GTL's in play above 500 fsb. Just running at 520 fsb on the 5:6 divider myself and need them in play.
