About LinkBacksAs of Core Temp version .99.5 should we still be using the -10 offset if we have a 45nm CPUs (i.e. Core i5-7xx, i7-8xx & i7-9xx)? See THIS POST for original source.

The correct offset for the old version of CoreTemp was -5C and that was only for Core 2 CPUs and not i5s and i7s (which weren't even out yet at the time).
New versions are ok as far as I know.
I see... Well. At this point I should inform you that I intend to form my own team, and destroy the molecular bonds that bind your very matter together and reduce the resulting particulate chaos to tears....If he doesn't win this decision I'm gonna burn my headset and run naked through the crowd.

Yep if in doubt get unclewebb's RealTemp and compare the two. Unclewebb did a lot of work in checking out tJMax when it first came to prominence and Intel were cagey about giving the figures out.
