Question about voltage and temperatures on DFI boards

    Hello

I have a DFI lt x48 t2r board, and since i have it, i dont know whats the right voltage that i am using, for example, if i set 1.4125v of vcore on BIOS, in windows CPUz says im using 1.456, and it also happens with vDIMM, if i set 2.1v on Bios, ite smart guardian, or everest or every program i use to read voltages in windows, says its a 2.06v...

so wich one should i believe? the one i set on BIOS, or the one i see on ITE smart guardian?? help please!!

and wtf is up with the board sensors?

see the pic below, as you can see, CoreTemp, Real temp, and everest... each one shows different tempsº... which one is telling me the right values? btw is normal that my "CPU" runs cooler than the "CPU cores"???

sorry if i ask too much, but this forums is the only way i have to solve my questions... because i do not have the proper tools to test it myself

    Thanks

Don't beat yourself up about this.
NO software reports voltages correctly. The only thing you can count on to tell you the correct voltages is a good DMM.
Failing that, the next best thing is whatever you have set in the bios.

Mobo's are not precision instruments when it comes to voltage sensors. All they do is give you a rough guide.

Trust your bios settings, and just go with it. At the end of the day, any given clock with any mobo, needs the voltages it needs.

Intel CPUs have a DTS (a digital sensor) for each core, sitting right in the middle of it, plus another sensor placed on the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader).
Smart Guardian reads the the one on the IHS, while CoreTemp and RealTemp read the ones on the cores.
Of course the sensor on the IHS, being away from the cores themselves, it's a little bit cooler.

Aw and do what KitFit says, use a DMM if you really want to know.

well i think im leaving it there the voltaje thing... im 16 years old, and i dont really know how to use a DMM, and i dont have one btw

and with the tempsº, theres still a 5º degress difference between core temp and realtemp, and 10º dregrees of dif between realtemp and everest... so i dont really know wich program is worse to read the right values..

    cheers

p.s.: sorry if my english is too bad, my native languaje is not english, is spanish D:

CoreTemp is right, I thought Realtemp had corrected the issue with the 5C offset, but apparently that's not the case (or you are using an outdated version). Everest is probably showing the IHS temp, but it ca nread the core temps too. I dunno why you are not seeing them, check the preferences.
