First of all, have a good read of the overclocking guides in my sig. Some of the pics will be slightly different to your screens, but the settings will have similar names.

You will at least gain an insight into overclocking if you do that first, and once you have got the basics, we can help you further

Thank you Clunk.

I read through Part One of your guide but I found a slight problem...

In my BIOS, I couldn't find the divider section for me to change it to 1:1 on this board. As such, I went back and had a second longer look. Nothing came up.

Funny thing though is that when I decided to go from 300 FSB farther to 360, the divider set itself to 1:1 instead of the (Was it 5:4 or 6:4) at 300 FSB.

I decided to start from 360 and now I am running the stress test.

HWM gives these Degrees(During the Stress Test of the four cores)

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 hardware monitor

Temperature sensor 0 48°C (118°F) [0x34] (core #0)
Temperature sensor 1 47°C (116°F) [0x35] (core #1)
Temperature sensor 2 46°C (114°F) [0x36] (core #2)
Temperature sensor 3 45°C (112°F) [0x37] (core #3)

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Those are the highest after the 52C of the GeForce 8800GTX.

All the rest run under 40C.

Now to wait and see if I pass the test...

+++++++++++

Also, is it okay to do something else like watch video while the test is running?

On the Maximus, it is called "frequency strap to northbridge"

Set that to 333/667 - that = 1:1
