Default Linpack (Intel Burn) test

There is an new version out, 2,0, made by agentGOD.

I've got the impression that the program isn't stable, Prime95 runs whitout errors for 10-15 hrs and Intel Burntest (Linpack) ran mostly 15-20 times = 7 minutes!!

Somebody else this experience?

Try LinX. It's for your x64 O/S.

It will generate a lot more heat than prime95 and that's probably why you are seeing errors, although it could just be an unstable version as you say.

My opinion is that if it's prime95 stable for as long as that, then it's plenty stable enough.

That I thought also and heat I am not so afraid for, just build in WC.

The Tjmax temps where 65-70 dgr.c with testings, max = 85 dgr.c according to Intel.

Will give Linx an try.

I don't know, I'm with what Clunk says as the heat load this program produces is unrealistic and excessive.
Your CPU may be stable at 55C but not at 70C, sometimes it happens.
FWIW I tested my OC with this and everything was fine.
