Is that PC8500 / DDR1066
or PC6400 / DDR800

For a DDR800 kit CL4 is pretty common & what you should go gor. Same goes for DDR1066 / CL5.

Usually it's very hard to get a new set of ram that is exactly the same revision as the one you already have, that means that while the specs are the same the chips are not, so it is like buying a different set altogether.
It's better to go for a 2x2GB set anyway as using all 4 slots will put more stress on the NB.

As to the Guru3D comments, they were using a quad, while he has a dual.
Also, I think that air cooling, whatever cooler and fan you buy, is not ok for "extreme overclocking" anyway.

I wouldnt call that extreme oc is trying to get 3.4Ghz on E4500 ^^

Lets back to RAM:
Which would be better 1066 or 800? On my current cpu i think that i wont cross over 400fsb. But maybe when i buy new cpu some day, I will then.
Is it better to have DDR1066 or 800 on higher FSB (like 500)? If u will say 1066, i think that i am gonna buy DDR1066. But is it a problem to use them with lower FSB (below 400)??
I know that i ask about million things, but i really dont want to buy new stuff like RAM, cooler, motherboard when i will have new cpu some day. So forgive me tons of my questions :P

No problems with the question, if we really don't like them we won't answer them.
If you plan on going up to a maximum of FSB400 DDR2-800 (PC6400 memory) is ok, if you want to try high FSB in the future, get DDR2-1066 (PC8500) memory.
Just check that what you are going to buy works well on your motherboard.
And yes 1066 memory work at lower speed too.

I have an Asus P5K with 2 x 1GB Corsair Dominator PC8500 cas5 running aok in it. I have to say that I don't think the P5K is all that great a board for overclocking.

I had an E6600 in it and couldn't get it over 3GHz, put it in my Gigabyte X38-DQ6 and it's running at 3.2GHz easy peasy. The P5K now has a E8500 in it but 3.5GHz is the best I can get out of it. This is on air cooling and the CPU never really gets overly hot.

I made my e4500 on asus p5k at 3ghz and it runs stable. So I belive that p5k is not so bad for easy overclocking.

Anyway i still dont know if those RAM DDR2 Kingston 4GB PC1066 2x2GB CL5 HyperX (Producer Code: KHX8500D2K2/4G) will be working good with asus p5k.

Well, you'll need to use Google a lot, scavenge forum threads etc and see what it is other people are using and have no problem with.

OMFG! Freaking disaster!!
Finally i bought those RAM: DDR2 Patriot 4GB PC800 Dual 2x2GB CL4 EP. System starts up without any problems.

But wtf O.O My wireless card just stopped working under 4gb of ram. I am trying to uninstall drivers, instal again but i cant, vista has some problems with installing them and it says that drivers were not succesfully installed. I tried to change slots of my wireless card and ram few times but it didnt help.

The most stupid thing is that card works perfectly under 2gb of my old RAM (2x1gb) and also under one stick 2gb of my new ram. I found that i am not the only one with this problem but noone found solution for this crap >.<
topic 1
topic 2
topic 3

BTW i didnt change my system to 64bit yet, but card should with work with 4gb on 32bit also! My friend had no problems with his wireless card and 4gb ram on 32bit vista. In 2 days i am gonna borrow his card so i can know if this is fault of my card.

Guys please help me, i spend a lot of money for this memory and now i am gonna cut myself in the bathtube
