    Simon,

I wouldn't worry about those slight over-volts, but as I say, if you want to know for sure, the only way to do it is to measure with a DMM.

not wanting to speak out of turn, but shouldn't you folks be sneering down your noses due to the TT Kandalf / Bogwater thingamajig?? As it ain't the drop your pants and bendover price for single parts for a wc kit???

I think you are wrong btw as I am weeks in without a drop spilt but not in a smug way as believe me I spend half of the time looking at the loops as bogwater is destined to leak, but it still hasn't. And it ain't the best performing kit in wc dept. I can't use anything that might increase resistance as my shoddy rubber band propelled crappy pump would wave the white flag etc or so I've been lead to believe by folks that ain't even using WC???

but yet it is still doing a job - better than any of my pathetic air cooled attempts.

But as I said previously all the good / really good / sound advice was basically saying spend 500 quid on a computer case and cooling................ well I spent 160 and its crap in the grand scheme of things, but it got me where I needed to go and I am 340 quid better off.................think of the no. of really really cheap latvian whores / vodka / both that you could get for that.............I rest my case........... and it it pisses all over my mobo..............
well I'm still 190 quid to the good after having bought a new one....190 pounds worth of Latvian vodka....hmmm.........chocolate

I think he was speaking of me at least in part.
I'll only say that the fact that i don't have a WC kit listed in my specs doesn't mean i never seen and/or used one, or that i have not read dozens of forum rants about TT solution failing causing various degrees of disaster.

NP, i seen worse alcohol-fueled rants.
That's why i haven't sipped a drop of any alcoholic beverage in the last 8 years.
Anyway, , and drink plentyful of water as soon as you wake up, it will help with the dehydration induced headache.

update to this, picked up another E8500 and seemed to have found a bit of a gem.

    VTT at 1.15
    Vcore at 1.216v

VID is listed as 1.2v aswell, a whole .05 lower then my previous E0!

all else on stock settings hit 4ghz and superpi1m stable and 32m.
