Another fine review sir...
How does the red scorpion compare to the vanilla 1283???
The only difference is the nickle plated pipes and the fan isnt it?
Presumably the perfomance is near identical unless the fans are drastically different...

Is the Core i7 going to have a larger IHS then (judging by your comments about IHS coverage fro the Achilles)?

The vanilla s1283 is up next and I'll let you know.

Yes, the Core-i7 look to be larger by about 1/3 it seems...I may be wrong, but that's what I think at the moment

u can buy an optional crossbow kit that eases the installation of this cooler.
