    DFI Lanparty JR P45 T2RS / JR 790GX M2RS MATX Motherboards

The first Micro ATX Board with no half-measures!

Diamond Flower International: has launched its LanParty JR-series of motherboards to much critical acclaim! This is a new venture for DFI, as both models use the MATX form factor. The two boards are quite different; one utilizes the Intel P45 chipset whilst the other uses AMD’s 790GX solution.

Starting with the Intel board; this goes under the name of LanParty JR P45-T2RS! The main board features two x16 PCIE slots; although these are hard locked at dual x8 in terms of bandwidth, a single PCIE x1 slot and a PCI slot. At the rear of the board you'll find two PS/2 ports, six USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1-channel audio with optical and coaxial S/PDIF out and a BIOS reset jumper!

The board also has six SATA ports, one IDE connector and additional headers for a further six USB devices. The chipset is cooled by a heatpipe array and DFI has fitted an enlarged heatsink on the PWM area. This improves the heat dissipation over similar models equipped with a smaller heatsink.

Next is DFI's first 790GX based motherboard and it features the SB750 Southbridge for improved over clocking of Phenom processors. The system board also supports Hybrid CrossFire and CrossFireX thanks to a pair of x16 PCIE slots, although as with the previous model, it's limited to x8 bandwidth per slot.

The main board also has an x1 PCIE slot and a PCI slot and around the back you'll find two PS/2 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a DVI port and a 7.1-channel audio solution, with optical and coaxial S/PDIF! In addition the board has six SATA ports, an IDE connector and once again headers for a further eight USB 2.0 ports. An interesting point to consider is that the LanParty JR 790GX-M2RS has an onboard power and reset buttons as well as a Post 80 debug LED display!

Both models feature the new Auto Boost System! This is an automatic overclocking utility, which can be accessed by pressing F1 at boot. The ABS feature also has a Windows utility with the ability to save and share your BIOS profile settings with people from all around the world!

DFI will announce Lan Party JR P45 T2RS officially on 8th of Aug.
