Default Windows 7 RC leaked details

Microsoft has updated their “Microsoft Partner Program” website and they suggest you will be able to publicly download Microsoft Windows 7 Release Candidate as early as the 5th of may. Technet and MSDN subscribers are “apparently” able to download this now, but as a Technet Subscriber myself i am unable to download this at the moment. Some other Windows 7 websites are suggesting that this document was not supposed to have been posted and that it will soon disappear from the Microsoft Partner Program website.*

Windows 7 RC leaked details | win7connect - A website dedicated to Microsoft Windows 7

* It has disappeared now , but was it a deliberate mistake ?

Is everyone still liking win7 then? I must admit, I haven't tried it recently.

Yes its all i am running on my main system. Not too many quirks to speak off. Any that i know of are down to compatibility issues with games, but its hardly fair to expect game studios to support a beta OS so i am happy enough.

Alternate between W7 and XP pro ( printer doesn't work in W7) , but mainly W7 .
As affiliate 13 says , it's mainly games with a problem ( and that seems to be punkbusters fault with cod4 ... )

It's great IMO, it took me a while to get used to the taskbar, but once i did i loved it, i haven't had any problems with anything so far...

It is now my main OS because XP and Vista have killed themselves and i just CBA to fix them...

works great on an eee too, very quick boot time

Was impressed with the speed of it but gave up after a few weeks..... still had both a Vista and an XP install with loads of stuff on them, so just couldn't be bothered with W7 as the trial stops working in August iirc... so then I'd have to migrate everything back to Vista.

hmm.. anyone think its worth running Win7 on a virtual machine?

im dual booting vista and xp but only reli use vista for its official dx10 support for gaming. I hope win7 will be more likeable (and driver friendly) than vista.
