Default Foxconn Blackops X48

We've mentioned over the last few months about Foxconn entering the enthusiast motherboard market.

Foxconn are the worlds biggest mobo manufacturer, you may not have heard of them because up until now they mostly manufacture OEM boards.

Their debut board was the Foxconn P35 Mars

Looks like they are getting really serious now

Not too many mobo manufacturers have guides like this Preparing your motherboard for extreme cooling

More Info:

More Mobo shots
Bios screens - you have control
QX9650 + HD2900Pro CF everything on air

looks to me like Asus Rampage Extreme is going to have some real competition
Drool......want onel

Thats one nice mobo ! Sell my IX38 $ Maximus and get one of this
I think the bios and stability will be super. The Mars is one of the best P35 mobo's out there so in that tradition it will be a winner with a steep price tag.

I would expect it to be priced up against the Asus Rampage Extreme. Be an interesting shootout i think.

Assuming foxconn count as a tier 1 manufacturer (these get the X48 chips 1st), which they should be as overall their about the size of Asus & gigabyte combined, but most of their production is oem. Then it should be about mid February, which is the supposed launch date of the Asus Rampage Extreme, which may be it's biggest competition . Though please don't hold me to that

luck
