I think every board I have posted with has been made in China. As the screenshots show there have been no issues. This whole thing got started because a small run was done using the wrong resistor compared to the value the BIOS was programmed for. A BIOS update corrected that.

I am so loyal to DFI until I got a hold of the Gigabyte EP45-UD3P board. I have to say that it was heartbreaking to go with a different manufacturer, but it was inevitable. However, I hope that DFI has really put the hard work back into this new X58 board. Really looking forward to your review Clunk!

Are you getting that brand new puppy soon Clunk? I am sure you're as anxious as me and several hundreds ... I have the i965E along with 6GB of Corsair Dominator DDR3 1600 on the way, and I need a mobo!! ... A buddy in my home forum has called the the new DFI X58 board a turd!! I need some irrefutable proof that will make him eat his words. So please post as soon as you get this board in your hands!

I remember either you or Praz mentioning that ... do hope you get one soon, as I am eagerly awaiting your review. Thanks again.

also looking forward to the review, have to say i'm quite partial to a DFI board, especially with a windowed case.

Looks like they've really stepped their game up
