Default Hi all..

Hi everyone.

As i am typing this, on my laptop, i am resetting the bios on my abit ix38 quad gt. I bought the following config exactly a month back, without thinking what i was buying ( mobo and ram ) till i investigated online and came to clunks forum. Now its not that i have joined specifically for that mobo, but also for learning/sharing and discussing after going through several threads. I am a aircraft Maintenance engineer in India, and computers and bikes are the two things that get my attention anytime. So im hoping to have a good time here and i hope i am accepted as a member of this forum.

Welcome to the forums

My experience of that board wasn't good, but Supershanks's was a bit better - I think it depends on what you are wanting to achieve

Bikes as in motorbikes? What have you got? - Pics! we like pics

You can add your system specs to your profile, see my sig for details

Hey there! We are getting more and more international!
Ah, remember that if you want to be accepted here, the best way is to provide copious amount of beer or other alcoholic beverage, in a short amount of time we'll be calling you mate and telling what a good and true friend you always have been!

Well i wanted a future proof board, that would take me easily to nehalem, and maybe a year or so into it so that the prices of the architecture/ DDR3 ram/ CPU go down, so as to make the switch, and is also current and powerful enough to handle anything thrown at it currently. The board does have its quirks, but then im getting back into OCing, after my first pentium mmx 166, and then subsequent messing around with AMD K6 or something , and cyrix processors on 810 boards.

I have a royal enfield thunderbird, A very old design but in a new cruiser look. will be uploading pics to my album soon.

Lol... and the best way to get that is to order the latest 4850 and ship it to your new friend here, and start a bond for life...
