Default Greetings..........

Hello all,

Stumbled across this site whilst browsing Hexus (I'm a long standing member of both Hexus and OcUK, but have not really contributed much recently). Most certainly impressed with some of the guides clunk, hats off to you

Got my first C2D the other day (long overdue an upgrade) and after reading up on it, thought it would be rude not to overclock it!!! Although, not overclocked anything for what seems an absolute age.

Back in the day I always favoured AMD, but now I think Intel is the way forward. As I said, looking to play around with my new stuff to get a feel for it again (all bought on the cheap, sort of low/mid-range-ish just for a taster, E2140 with a Freezer Pro 7 on a ASUS P5K. 2Gb of OCZ PC-6400 and a PX7800 GTX). My trusty old main rig is a P4 3.6 on a good old ASUS P4P800E-DeLuxe and a 1950 Pro so as you see I'm now (at last) exploring new areas, particularly DDR2 and PCI-e.

regards
