Exclamation I want to e8500@4 GHz on DFI LP UT X48

Hi everyone, i'm new, and i'm italian, so sorry for my english!

I want to take my e8500 to 4 GHz but for a 24/7 use AT MAXIMUM STABILITY (never one crash! )

Here it is my system:

-CPU: E8500 STEPPING 6 C0
-RAM: GEIL ULTRA SERIES 800 MHZ 4-4-4-12 1.9-2.3V
-MB: DFI LP UT X48 T2R
-CPU COOLER: ZALMAN CNPS9700NT
-CASE: COOLERMASTER XCALADE CM-690 WITH 6 12CM FANS (3 INTAKE [1 FROM FRONT & 2 FROM SIDE], 3 EXHAUST [1 FROM BEHIND & 2 FROM TOP])

I'm soooooooo noob to oc, so can you give me ALL the parameters to have a PERFECT STABLE 4 GHz oc? THNX!!

Welcome to the forums

Have a look at my DFI overclocking guide for a quick 4Ghz setup - It's a sticky in the overclocking section

Well if you read the DFI X48 LP LT Living Review, there are some of the settings used to overclock an 8500.

Remove the X-Fi and try again.

Also make sure youa re running the latest BIOS, chipset drivers, graphics drivers and any other drivers you need.

Make sure windows is fully up to date.

Make sure all your power leads are in properly.

Why you think about the x-fi??? If it would be that, it will do that also not in oc, i think..
The bios is the last (not beta), also all the drivers, and windows is up to date.

The connectors are all fit properly, but i didn't connect the 2 4-pin connectors (like floppy) for more stabilty in extreme oc. Can be them? My seller said that those are not necessary for my configuration.
