Default DK X38 / OCZ 8800 High Performance problem

First at all hello all dear ppl (and sorry for my bad english)

- Running my DK X38 with Transcend Axe Ram without any problems (booting, benchamrking, working ...) with C2D 6550 worked at 528 FSB with Q9450 working at 444 FSB

Last night i tried with OCZ 8800 (1100) High performance DDR2 and i had and still having a problem !
Motherboard don't wanna boot, beep or anything like that , just have electricity spin coolers and nothing more from that.
I cleared CMOS lots of time, tried with every single module and slots.

Just want to mention that this OCZ modules working perfect on my second machine, ABIT IP35 Pro / C2D 6550 at FSB 523

Anyone have solution for that, or had maybe same problem as me ?!

Thx for reading this post and thx for understanding

Welcome to the forums

Remove the RAM and the CMOS battery and leave it for a few minutes (longer the better), then try again, with only ONE stick of RAM. If it doesn't work, do the same again with the other stick of RAM.

If it still doesn't work, try some different RAM

This might be worth a try.
  • If you have problems booting with some OCZ RAM (8000 platinum, 8000 Reaper X, or 8500 Reaper), it is possible that you have a set of sticks that aren't compatible in their original state with your DFI board. The problem relates to the tRFC being set to high in the module's SPD table, so you can reflash your modules relatively easily, as long as you have any spare DDR2 motherboard that will allow you to get to windows with the modules fitted.
