940's, 965's, the lot. He's a member at Benchtech Uk, so i have had dealings with him before. Very reliable, and he keeps his shop updated sale by sale, so if it shows as in stock, it is.

Are you seeing a sizable performance gain from using the 4870 with the 4870X2? Makes sense so I'm intrigued. Shame about the DFI board, Hows the EVGA fairing? I've always seen EVGA as the cream of the PC hardware market but not necessary the best for Overclocking.. Whats the verdict? awesome??

It got me a score of 27243 in 3d06 at 4.2ghz, on HWBOT it puts me in the middle of a load of peeps running 2x 4870x2's. So i would say the combination of a 4870x2 and a 4870 is blinding

The "Classified" was designed from the ground up as a baord for clocking.

So far i've spent 3 weeks with a borrowed board, under air and phase. It is a blinding mobo, there's no doubt about that. Under phase it has no trouble booting at 234x21, and i have had it 5hrs Prime stable at 220x21. That mobo went back to it's owner on Thursday, my Classified won't be with me until Monday (i was hoping it would be here today, but it didn't arrive). The borrowed mobo was a 759, the one i have coming to me is a 760, so it should clock even better.

Yeh it is AF. If you remember when they first came out, the 759 was only ever going to be a limited edition. As it happens, i know i will be happier with the 760 because the NF200 chip in the 759 i was using was defo generating more heat than you would expect. Plus it almost certainly cut down it's clocking potential, not by a huge ammount. But an overhead you can do without.

Yeah nice one then, that would have been the version i would have gone for too. At the time i was reading on these the 760 was only a possiblity.

I can picture you now sitting by the window watching the garden gate for the postie.

I'm off to a gig in Paris in about 20mins or so, so the Postie better do the business on Monday in conjunction with Mrs kitfit, or i'll be well pissed off
