WTF?
Im running IX38 w E6850 lightly oc'd to 3.2ghz
Bios 12.08.
Raptor 150
Barracuda 250
4 gig or should I say 3.25 gig :-) Pc 6400 DDr2 800.
video card is only a XFX 7900gs.
Windows Vista
ALL with latest drivers\updates
I am lucky to get 5500 on 3dmark06 and I am ranked like 46 th or something under a bunch of CD E6600's there Somethaing has to BE farked.
Everything seems to be runnning well other than a little temp (10 deg) discrepancy betwixt the BIOS\Coretemp0.96\uguru\everest readings
Where to start??
Thanks for any advice.

qboneus,
Have moved your post to a new thread as it had nothing to do with TopHouse's thread.

1) check cou-z Mainboard tab to ensure your getting x16 PCI-E bandwidth.
2) 3dmark06 is particularly gfx card intensive rather than cpu. Not a clue what your score should be, use the compatison option in 3dmark website to see where your score should be.

luck

Sorry about the hijack, poor manners.
Well when I run 3dmark06 Almost all of the comparisons have the same card 7900gs and lesser processors and mb's are scoring way above mine
It is reccomending me the card I have and processors that are the lesser of mine (admittedly iam minimally oc'd)
When I saw this in another thread I HAD to WTF?
I am ranked particularily low and cannot figgure out why.
aquamark3 lists me at 110,000 range?
Off to research more..
Thanks for the resource.

cpu-z does confirm x16 but I notice the core speed fluctuate between 3.2 and 2.13 mhz and the multi fluctuates to 6 as well.
coretemp says I'm at 3.2 (355.57x9)???
messed up.

Thats your speedstep for the processor. Can be disabled in bios under Eist and C1E, I think, Supershanks will be able to confirm.

Peace
