Hi,
well I pushed this chip a little more and managed to get up to 3.8Ghz at which point the cpu was getting a little too warm at idle for my liking well 44 deg is a little hot or maybe it isn't anyways for 24/7 use I think I will back it down to 3.6Ghz which I think is plenty fast enough for my needs please see link and let me know if you think there are any more ponies in the stable guys I would love to run my memory at its rated speed but my pc will not post at anything over 800mhz when clocked at 3.6Ghz but bizarly I can run 844 at 3.8Ghz????
3.6GHz is usually the point where most Q6600 G0 CPUs will start to require a slug more voltage for only small gains....some will go higher, but generally speaking, 3.6GHz is the sweet spot, so you have done good
