Default 1066 ocz refuses to go over 800@1:1???

Hi,
got a bit of a problem insomuch that I have 2x1gig sticks OCZ 1066 pc2 memory OCZ2N1066SR12G and whereas I am overclocked @ 3.6Ghz my memory refuses to post above 800Mhz I have timings set as per sticker on ram of 5-5-5-15 2t 2.1v but every time I try to go over 800Mhz pc refuses to boot am I missing something?? I am runnig on Asus P5KC mobo with 1203 bios (latest) I can't see anything else bios that will enable me to force sticks to operate at rated speeds anyone any ideas???

I had one of those boards briefly. I was using much older BIOS though.
Have you tried different DIMM slots?
Sometimes the other set are more stable.
Also maybe try a little more Vdimm, if you go over 2.2v use some active cooling on the sticks.

Also try bumping up the Northbridge voltage a few notches... shouldn't really need it, but it certainly won't do any harm.

I had some of that RAM and couldn't get it to do what it was supposed to either, ended up sending it back and buying different stuff.

If you are still having problems, the OCZ staff on their forums are pretty good, especially OCZ Ryder.

Also try putting the CPU to 266 and the memory to 1066MHz, that would possibly rule out the memory being faulty.

It could also be as GSte said, not enough NB voltage, or even CPU voltage.
