Most of us use photobucket.com (or imageshack) and upload our images there. Then just insert the link into a post here. Just ask if you've got further questions.

Hey there, just wanted to say something for those that don't know Protools: as all DAW it uses plug-ins to process audio, but unlike all others the plugins are active even when the program is in pause/stop. That means that the cpu will be under a constant load from the moment a plugin (or more) are loaded.
The program does not allow the cpu to be loaded more than 85%, but anyway it should be taken into account that unlike when working with Photoshop or a 3D rendering/video editing app, the load is constant and pretty high throughout the whole working session, as opposed to a moderate load with some bursts of full utilization.
There is no long and heavy rendering process when the work is finished, the final saving is as heavy as the rest of the work.
Basically what i mean is that there will be a lot of heat being dumped in the case, therefore it's important to take into account the need for proper airflow or temperatures will raise a lot during the session.

Thanks Kelainefes, You are correct this is my 4th generation of builds for protools and my first Intel...I am running Protools w/ Digi 003 w/ Protools V. 7.4. I just want to maximize my system as much as possible with my current hardware. I will post my CPU-Z as soon as I upload some pics.

Thanks, Tracy

I'll say it right now - you need better cooling than that AC Freezer 7 Pro. TRUE 120 is what you should be aiming for for what you want to do and run.

I see you posted a BIOS template.
If i recall correctly ASUS boards from the P5K family are quite voltage happy when settings are left on auto.
Therefore i'd try to edit manually the following settings:
CPU Voltage:Auto for that overclock you should aim to set this south of 1.4 i reckon.
CPU PLL Voltage: Auto this could degrade you CPU quickly if set too high, try leaving it under 1.55-1.6 max
FSB Termination Voltage: Auto With a FSB that high for a quad, you may need to set this on the highish. Try not to exceed 1.3-1.35v
DRAM Voltage: (1.90) this should be ok if you are not having problems, although your sticks are probably getting a little more
NB Voltage:Auto You'll probably need at least 1.45, but i wouldn't be surprised if you'll need more than 1.5v
SB Voltage:Auto Up it a few notches if you need, but usually defualt is fine
Clock Overcharging Voltage: Auto
Load Line Calabration: Auto enable it

Anyway i'm not really sure if 450x7 is a great idea, i think 400x8 could be easier to get to stability and with less voltages.
It would also be a little bit faster, and you could try and use the 400/1066 divider to run your mrmory at its rated frequency.
BTW did you test the stability of the system with Prime 95? I see the idle temps are 45 C, so probably you 'll get over 65-70C under load.
I'm with Godsdog on this one, get a better cooler for the CPU. Is noise an issue? Because the TRUE performs decently with a slow fan, but shines with fast models. Maybe the Scythe Ninja Rev2 would be better for silent cooling.
