Default LCD screens test

Face to Face: LCD Screens - DigitalVersus

I found this and i thought it may be useful to people looking to buy a new screen.
Basically they give you the data the manufacturers won't.
In instance, did you know that some monitors will give you more than 3 frames of delay? That's 50 ms right there, on top of your ping time.
Other useful stuff is photos taken at angles, contrast, grays and colors fidelity (before and after calibration), Gamuth, etc.

BTW, just look at the Sony OLED, it's small, and therefore it's pixel number is limited, but at 11" it has 960x540, wich means that a 22" could have a 1920x1080 resolution.
I mean it's on another planet altogether compared to LCDs, 0 response time, infinite contrast, TRUE BLACK blacks, much wider gamut, viewing angle of 179 both horizontal and vertical with colors not becoming weird, it's like a painting.
To sum it up, OLED FTW!

OLED does look staggeringly good according to that info... about 20x more expensive than en equivalent sized LCD though :O

Yep, but there's no hurry first we have to buy 120Hz 16:9 LCDs, then maybe the price will be down enough for us mere mortals to afford.
