Default Intel release TjMax

As promised the Intel developers forum released the Tjmax which has had to be estimated until now.
Desktop TJFor Dual and Quad Core CPUs
The net effect assuming Intel isd correct is that Coretemp was +5C and Realtemp was -5C
There are still on going issues and debate around this value see RealTemp post #2078 onwards
Unclewebb descibes the main issue here Sensor Error

The updated 95C versions can be found here:-

So use the new CoreTemp and the new RealTemp and take a mean average?

Same as my thoughts. I saw this in someone's sig and it pretty much sums up the temperature thing.

Overclocking and worried about temperatures? Well, that's like adding a sprinkle of bran flakes to a 1500 calorie fried breakfast and claiming to be concerned for your health.

I'm in the "if it cuts out, it's too hot and Intel have made that decision for me" camp.

I just think things should work. So it's a bonus people know where they stand.

well they should read the same now based on 95C.
It was a bugger's muddle before Intel's disclosure , now I guess it's an official bugger's muddle

I tried them both last night and they were 5c shy of each other.

I only really need something when priming/OCCT over 1.4v as the E8600 gets mental hot. So i just want something to help me avoid 100c, i didnt notice last time until smartguardian hit 110c. :/

As to being worried, its more a case of finding a happy medium than anything else.

Splendid, i cant wait to see what you can pull out of it under your Fuzion block.
Will you be doing a review like you did for the E8400?

My attempt at a review still isn't finished and tbh only has produced more questions than answers. They seem like great chips though.
