Default Intermitant Connectivity ON Both NICS

Hello

Searching around at the moment for answers to an issue I have?

What I am getting is intermitant connectivity on BOTH the NICS both LAN and WAN..

I am pretty sure it's not Network based as none of the other user on the LAN have any issues neither does my laptop plugged into the same switch port using the same cable..

Was wondering if there have been any issues with the onboard NICS when overclocking??

Have read issues with the PCI-E interface having to be set to abot 102 - 103 Mhz to stop it droping to something like 1x..

Wondering if anyone elase has had / read of any issue with them...

I have used the DFI and the Marvell updated drivers. Also tried no drivers with Vista assigning them itself.. No luck

I have had a couple of occasions where that happened, but after a reboot it was ok.

It was also only when I was using Vista x64, so I suspect the drivers are the culprit. Mine doesn't do it in XP32.

Also, as it fixed after a reboot, I didn't bother updating the drivers, so there may well be a more updated version.

Haven't had any PCI-E x1 issues on any of the DFI boards, so can't help there, sorry .

Haven't got the issue just some things I read to do with the 1x 1x / 4x settings and locking down the PCI-E to 102 / 103Mhz..

Late in the day for me.. Probably been reading too many posts and gettin' confused..

Well the NIC goping down is a right pain. Trying to transfere Large files between 2 pc's and they keep timing out.. Not fun..

Whole well thanks for confiming it does happen.. Saves me lookin else where.
