Default Voltage on DFI X48 T2-LT

hi guys,

i allready discribed my OC probs in this topic:
Q9450 @ DFI LanParty X48, Temps and OC

but i do have a question that maybe silly for u but i dont get it.
because its summer, i tried to keep temps low and gave my quad a voltage from 1.15 V in my BIOS, but when i load SG or RealTemp, they both show about 1.2V, how can this happen? a difference fron 0,05 V is to much i think.

please help

greez

I understand this is a sensor problem.

If you measure the voltage with a DMM, it should be spot on

DMM= Digital Multi-Meter, it is basically an instrument that measures voltages, amperes, Ohms, etc.

The fact that voltage looks increased my be due to the VID Special Add in the bios.

no special add, speciall add can just be activated V > 1,2

I think that on low voltages it adds some small amount of voltage, even when it is disabled. But maybe it's just the sensor.
