Default DFI DK X38/X48 overclock settings and new BIOS

DFI sent me a new BIOS for the X38 and X48 DK models, which I have posted here for you to download.

According to DFI's tests, the new BIOS and settings should give you 20-30 more FSB.

The settings below are for 45nm Dual core CPUs - Quad cores will need some GTL Ref tweakage.

People with Quad Core CPUs should stay on the old BIOS for now.

Please make sure you download the correct BIOS for your board, I take no responsibility for any loss or damage cause by using these BIOSes.

X38 is in this post, X48 in the next post.

To be honest, I didn't know that one was coming, it just turned up.

I don't even have that board!

If anything surfaces, I will post it here for you

Hello Clunk,

did you hear anything about the release date of the final BIOS for the UT X48 T2R? 20-30 MHz more FSB on the DK-Boards is realy impressive. I hope to get it soon

Keen

hmm, when clicking betabios file:
