Default Anyone seen any small, low powered, fairly high res LCD/TFTs?

I need a low powered, small, but decent res TFT for my test bench and it needs to have really low power consumption.. It's getting to the point now, where I'm doing all my work on the laptop because my desk has been taken over .

I'm sure theres a market for something like this, so does anyone know of anything?

Well, it really depends on what is available...but I would consider smaller than 15" widescreen if such a thing is available.

Wouldn't the most economical solution be to just buy a used 15" LCD monitor? Why do you need low power? Something like this would be nice... expensive, though:

XENARC TECHNOLOGIES CORP. :: LCD Monitors :: 7-Inch LCD Monitors :: 700TSV – 7" USB Touch Screen LCD Monitor with VGA and AV inputs

Would one of these pop-out server room displays be any use?
Server Rack mounted Screen and Keyboard on eBay, also, Servers, Networking, Computing (end time 18-Jun-08 16:56:12 BST)

TFT Console Drawers, Console Drawer

One of these might be a giggle, great if you have no space but want a large screen.

That would possibly be the cheapest yes. I want low power because the price of fuel/electricity here is astonomical

I think a 7" screen will be too small. I'll keep looking

NEW! 13" XGA CAR TFT LCD ROOFMOUNT MONITOR WITH FULL 360 DEGREES SWIVEL + IR
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^
Prolly not cheap eneough and in the states but i thought one like these 12v screens might use less power and ones for ICE are usually quite small.

Is there a car audio place near you? they might have some suggestions too.
